The Volleyball England Beach Tour(VEBT) is a high profile format of the game and attracts significant media interest. These are showcase events which draw in the crowds to the Grandstands in order to appreciate the performances of the top Beach Volleyball players in the country.

Initially each would require a temporary venue constructed to accommodate the event.  The long term aim, and legacy, would be a permanent Beach venue that would be capable of hosting future beach events and providing beach volleyball facilities for local clubs.

Please see the   VEBT 2010 Regulations ; these contain information on the infrastructure requirements for hosting a 2010 VEBT event. Cities and Promoters will be required to tender to be part of this high profile tour.

BeachFest is a large scale mass participation event not only playing 2 a side but also 4 and 6 a side including mixed and juniors, aiming at attracting participants of all levels. The target of 10  events in 2013 is achievable through continued development and strengthening of the BeachFests. Each year which we will support with financial resources, branding and where possible volunteer time, in return the event must reach certain quality assurance criteria and follow the BeachFest Regulations 2010.

Here are the   BeachFest Terms and conditions 2010 which will need to be completed on the success of your application.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to engage with the student population.  The annual Beach Student Cup is scheduled to take place before summer holidays. This event draws in an increasing number of student volleyball players, which sees both men’s and women’s doubles competition runs alongside a mixed 4’s competition.  A tournament party is enjoyed by the students on the Saturday evening.

If you wish to be part of the VEBT / BeachFest / or host the Beach Student Cup, please complete the   Application to Host form giving details of how you are able to deliver the event in partnership with Volleyball England and which dates you wish to host the event.
Closing date for all applications is 7th December 2009. Applications to Host will be assessed by a Beach Event selection panel. Subsequent to this we will endeavour to confirm the events by the 18th of December 2009.
