Volleyball England Beach Tour (VEBT) 2008

With a highly active Beach Commission and the successful introduction of the Volleyball England Beach Tour in the summer of 2006, a new structure, ethos and identity for beach volleyball has been established alongside a desire to increase participation.

Once again, the VEBT is combining a participation-focused philosophy and a hierarchical model for tournaments in order to maximise participation whilst simultaneously providing an opportunity for high-level competition.

After last year’s highly successful VEBT, which proved a big success with players, promoters and spectators alike, the challenge is on this year to meet and indeed exceed all expectations alongside increasing participation.
