Volley 123 process flow chart

Phase 1 – Initiation
Before you receive your Volley 123 folder you will be asked to complete an application form which will draw your attention to key aspects of the accreditation process and will allow you to assess your readiness to move on.
The National Club Development Officer will assess the application form and contact your club about embarking on the appropriate pathway.

Phase 2 – Implementation
In this phase your club will actually start working towards accreditation. A Volley 123 folder will be sent to your club that will highlight certain aspects of club development that your club should be focusing on and will ask for evidence to show that you satisfy the accreditation criteria. The National Club Development Officer (NCDO) will assist your club in working through the file and will contact you at regular intervals to offer guidance and assistance.

Phase 3 – Assessment
Once your club has gathered evidence in each section, the NCDO will confirm that you are ready to submit your folder. Every club is different and will submit folders after different lengths of time. The only stipulation is that the folder MUST be submitted within 12 MONTHS OF REGISTRATION. If a club does not submit within 12 months the support of the NCDO cannot be guaranteed beyond this period and only the elements completed within the 12 month period will be eligible to receive funding. The NCDO will present the folder to the assessment panel and will be available to answer questions but will have no part in awarding the accreditation.

Phase 4 – Accreditation
The folder will be assessed by an independent panel of judges who will make a decision on your folder which will either be to accredit or return for further evidence/development work. The NCDO will contact you with the outcome.
