The 2009 Pontins event will take place on the weekend of 3rd-5th July.

Pontins Entry Form and Information

340 young people (aged 10 to 15) played in the Annual Junior Volleyball Festival at Pontins Holiday Centre at Ainsdale, near Southport, over the weekend of 27th-29th June 2008. The festival has become a permanent fixture on the summer volleyball calendar and is a great competition with a strong emphasis on participation and enjoyment, rather than excellence.

8 clubs and 6 schools entered 74 teams in 7 age group competitions from U11’s to U15’s. Park High School (from Birkenhead) being the only new team in the festival this year.

Southport, 2nd and 3rd July 2005

The Pontins Junior Volleyball Festival, now well into its second decade took place on a sunny weekend at the start of July. This year entries stretched from the North East to London, such is the popularity of the event which saw 79 teams competing in tournaments ranging from the under 11s 3-a-side mixed, to under 15s for both girls and boys. Thanks go to Brian Kendall the organiser, and his considerable group of volunteers who helped the pools run so smoothly across the weekend.
