Southport, 2nd and 3rd July 2005

The Pontins Junior Volleyball Festival, now well into its second decade took place on a sunny weekend at the start of July. This year entries stretched from the North East to London, such is the popularity of the event which saw 79 teams competing in tournaments ranging from the under 11s 3-a-side mixed, to under 15s for both girls and boys. Thanks go to Brian Kendall the organiser, and his considerable group of volunteers who helped the pools run so smoothly across the weekend.
