Volleyball England

National Competition Framework

The competitions review has been undertaken by Volleyball England in consultation with its’ Schools & Youth Development, Competitions, Coaches, and Referees Commissions, with the former English Schools Volleyball Association having been assimilated into the National Governing Body in the mid-1980s. By consulting across this broad spectrum of the sport, and involving the Youth Sport Trust and National Council for School Sport in the discussions, Volleyball England has done its utmost to ensure that this framework is holistic in its approach, encouraging the use of competition as a driver for wider development of the sport within its’ “Let’s Play Volleyball” National Youth Development Programme. Schools and Clubs compete alongside each other in Volleyball in England.
