The aim of competitions in Key Stages 3 and 4 is to facilitate learning and give children the opportunity to play Volleyball in a fun and enjoyable environment. From under 14 age there is the opportunity to enter National Competitions (please see below):
These events hold high prestige in the Volleyball community in England with a number of our leading players having had their formative experiences shaped by playing on the show-court at the National Cup Finals after having played in local and regional qualifying rounds and the legendary ‘top 8s’ events. These competitions are currently undergoing a major modernisation process which will see the competitive formats fall into line with the Volleyball England player development pathway through the introduction of the National u14s Championships (3 v 3) in 2007-08 and then to the National u15s Championships in 2008-09. Please read the Guidance document for further information on how Volleyball England has gone about this process.
