Regions to nominate a Head Coach for each of their age groupings, these appointments will be confirmed in consultation with members from the relevant commissions and will be for a 2-year term with annual review. As a result coaches should aim to recruit players that will work with them over a two-year period at a particular age group. Nominated coaches must:

• be registered and qualified to at least EVA level 2 (or equivalent) or committed to attaining this within the first 12 months of their appointment
  
• embrace the philosophy including the technical menu for player development and recruitment
  
• agree a programme of regular training and competition with the EVA including venues and times (note: dates will be fixed nationally, see later)
  
• appoint an assistant coach and manager and take an active role in their development (Boys at least one male staff member, Girls at least one Female)
  
• Consider attending holiday training camps to assist National Coaches.
