The volleyball players for this year’s UK School Games have been selected for the tournament taking place in Bristol and Bath between 29th and 31st August.
Six teams from England will battle it out with four teams from Scotland and two from Northern Ireland to be crowned UK School Games Champions 2008.

At mid-day on the Sunday 8th June the Team Managers from the 12 competing teams at the 2008 UK School Games gathered in the garden area on Bath University Campus for the competition draw.
The draw for the 2008 UK School Games was overseen by Janet Inman, Child Welfare Officer for the event and Volleyball England Development Director. The draw for the Girls under-16 Competition was made by current Great Britain Volleyball Player, Denise Johns.
The U-16 Girls champions in Coventry 2007 England North, will face England Central in the first match followed immediately by one of the most eagerly awaited clashes between Scotland East and Scotland West. Divisional champions England South, kick off their campaign with a match against Northern Ireland. For more information please see the U-16 Girls Competition Schedule.
The draw for the Boys under-17 Competition was made by current Great Britain Volleyball Player, Jody Gooding.
The first match in the Boys U-17 Competition sees overall divisional champions in the 2007 event England South take on Scotland East followed by the U-17 champions taking on England North. Please click below for the completed Competition Schedules for both the Boys and Girls Competitions for Bristol and Bath 2008. There will be round robin with the top two playing off in the finals on the Sunday afternoon. The divisional champions will calulated using both the Boys and Girls results from throughout the weekend.
