As a consequence of Volleyball’s entrance into the UK School Games for the 2007 event Volleyball England set-up three Divisional Squads across the country for both Boys (U-17s and Girls U-16s). These are referred to as:
To be eligible for selection for the Volleyball England Divisional Cadet Programme (including UKSG), an athlete must:
- Be affiliated to Volleyball England through a club, school or other association.
- Live, attend school or represent a club within the boundaries of the appropriate Volleybal England regions (Northern Division-North West, Yorkshire and North East; Central Division - West Midlands, East Midlands and East; South Division - South West ,South East, London)
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a British passport or have been living in England for 2 years.
These squads are designed to be the stepping stone from those chosen to represent their regions at the Inter-regionals through to those selected at either the England Cadets or Juniors Level.
