We are pleased to announce that we have now formed a Great Britain Womens Sitting Volleyball Development Programme for which we have set dates from through until the summer of 2010.  The group comes at a time when Sitting Volleyball is contuing to grow and develop in preparation for 2012.

The programme is being lead by John Bestebroer through until the World Championships in July with a team of coaches including Karen Hung, Tom Middleton and Rebecca Saunders.  John won the Bronze medal with Holland at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and has recently been working with us to deliver our Sitting Volleyball Awareness Days and has now committed to helping the Great Britain Women in the early phases of their development.  The others all originate from some of the Sitting Centres that have recently been established to help support the Great Britain Programmes by providing more regular training and domestic competition.
