Volunteering
Volunteering England is the national volunteer development organisation for England. They work across the voluntary, public and private sectors to raise the profile of volunteering as a powerful force for change.
Volunteering England offers an array of services including useful factsheets designed to help and support everyone who works with volunteers in any capacity.
Do-it.org.uk - www.do-it.org.uk
Recruit volunteers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The do-it.org website is a national database of volunteering opportunities in the UK where potential volunteers can search for their ideal volunteer experience. Millennium Volunteers is a scheme targeted at young people aged 16-24 years who are interested in volunteering in their local community. These young volunteers are looking for local placements doing a range of voluntary activities, often with support from a local Millennium Volunteer (MV) representative. These volunteers work towards gaining accreditation for 100 and 200 hours of community volunteering.

Reach matches the skills of experienced people to the needs of voluntary organisations. Reach recruits and supports people with managerial, technical and professional expertise and places them in part-time, unpaid roles in voluntary organisations that need their help.
