Volleyball England Awards

Volunteers are extremely important to aid the development of Volleyball across the country, without you and others like you, volleyball would simply not exist! The time and energy contributed by volunteers assists and assures the future development of volleyball.

Every Club has that one member who goes over and beyond the call of duty to ensure the success of the club, and we’re offering you the chance to get there time and efforts recognised. The Volleyball England Volunteer and Coach Awards are now open for your nominations and will be presented at the Annual Awards Dinner in April.

There are numerous awards up for grabs this year including the prestigious Coach and Volunteer of the Year Awards. All categories available are listed below, so take a look at the criteria set out below to see if someone in your club could be awarded with a Volleyball England Award this year.

All nominees for volunteer awards must be part of an affiliated club or association and be a registered Volleyball England volunteer (register online).   Nominees for the coach awards must be a registered Volleyball England Coach.

Nominators must follow guidelines given as well as providing any additional relevant information that may apply. 

Volunteer Award categories:

  • Young Volunteer of the Year
  • Young Official of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Services to Refereeing
  • Putting Volleyball @ the heart of the Community
  • Long Time Service 

Coach Award Categories:

  • Female Coach
  • Male Coach
  • Development Coach
  • Coach of Junior Players
  • Young Coach
