

Rod Stockwell has given many years of commitment of personal time, impacting hugely on the club in a positive way. In the past year he has given a minimum average of 14 hours a week, performing a number of different roles from coaching to mini bus driving. Rods contribution of time and effort is amazing. For many years he has displayed outstanding commitment to the club and volleyball.
Patricia moved here from Brazil and has been at School in England for 4 years. She loves Volleyball as a sport and always turns up to practice and helps put before and after she trains. She volunteers gladly and always with a smile. Her help assistance and initiative make any event run smoothly. London League referees are pleased with competent level of scoring.
Everything she does she does with a welcoming smile and cheery nature and I wish I could have 10 of her in the club!!
Clinton is person who has the genuine respect and understanding of players as well as being consistent in his decision making and refereeing with a smile on his face. He is highly professional, fair, understanding and knowledgeable. His fare and even application of the rules is accompanied by a relaxed and understanding manner which helps everyone enjoy their volleyball.
For many years Ros has sustained the club through good and not so good times - she has developed and inspired many young player to go on to achieve high honors but at the same time has managed to coax, cajole and rekindle the passion for the support more mature players. her passion for the game, commitment to the sport and contribution to the community has benefited thousands of people of the years.
All who know Paul will acknowledge his contribution as an active, reliable and regular volunteer in Volleyball over the last 30+ years. It is difficult to think of time when he has not been at the heart of Volleyball in Chelmsford and beyond. At County level he has been Treasurer and is currently President of Essex VA using his experience and leadership to help the County develop. At Regional level he is current Treasurer and past Officials Officer of East region and has introduced better co-ordination, controls and guidance for the regional junior squads.
Luke has established a strong Volleyball Programme at Ruislip High School which follows the Volleyball England Technical Model. The 16 year 7 pupils involved train 3 times week and are given enhanced development opportunities through the use of innovative software programme - Dartfish. The players that are emerging are of a high technical quality and should go on to achieve a good level of performance. By focusing on a group of young (11 - 12 years ) players Luke is investing in the future and will hopefully produce some top quality players. The club is in the London league so Luke is helping put in the player pathway for the future.
Will frequently travels 1 1/2hours to coach at the club every Friday 3.30pm to 8pm, as well as giving up most weekends. He also takes control of Junior development and child welfare officer for Newcastle Staffs. He coordinated the grand prix series. for boys and girls aged 11 - 15 years, held at Madeley High School, with over 100 participants each time. He has also ensured a first class coaching centre to develop young players, based at Madeley High. Will is in regular communication with young players via NSVC website and castle news
Tom is well know in the South for him never ending efforts to raise the profile of Sitting Volleyball throughout the country. He also helps to organise numerous events such as setting up the National Cup Finals, London v Kent Match. Tom is always running new sitting volleyball sessions across the country as well as setting up friendly matches to try and build up the sitting volleyball network.
Sandra has coached The Cardiff Tigers development squad (Tiger Cubs) single handedly this year, as well as the Men and Ladies Volleyball teams at UWIC. She also Coached the Womens Welsh Universities Volleyball squad for the 2nd year as well as being a National league player. UWIC ladies went on to win the BUSA trophy championships and the boys reached the highest level in 5 years.
For over 5 years now he has worked on promoting volleyball in the local area, which has seen him coaching college teams to over 14 national titles. This year he has coached 3 college teams , both mens and womens attending the national finals and mixed in the semi's. Along side this, he has coached a nvl division 3 ladies team, who in their first season are close to achieving a play off spot. Along side both these teams he helps with the local mens division 3 national league team and also has a number of teams playing in local league competitions. On average giving up 4 nights a week and every other weekend to either coach a training session or matches.
