This year’s Big Volleyball Bash II was held on Saturday at the Ramada Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. The volunteers’ conference included workshops based around themes identified by Volleyball England members via an online survey. A total of nine sessions took place across three strands of development in Volleyball: Club Development, Schools and Education, Coaching and Refereeing.
With delegates ranging in age from 15 up to 60 plus, the interactive format of the workshops encouraged discussion and debate to explore ideas. With 60 delegates attending the day, Volleyball England hopes to build on this key event for volunteers to take back useful information to their respective clubs and areas of involvement. Thanks to everyone who attended the event and made it a memorable day.
