Board of Directors

The English Volleyball Association (Volleyball England) is a company limited by guarantee and not having a Share Capital.

The Executive Board is directly accountable to members for the performance of the company and is responsible for the management of the Association’s business, strategy, management policies, business plan and financial budgets, as well as safeguarding stakeholder's interests. Three sub committees and seven commissions support the Board in its function. The board delegates to the Chief Executive the day-to-day and business management control.

The Board operates on a rotational basis, to ensure a level of continuity; elected officers can serve for a maximum of two years and then retire. They may seek immediate re-appointment but this will be subject to election by the Members.

The Executive Board consists of a maximum of 10 directors, comprising the following positions: The President, Vice-President, five portfolio Directors and up to two co-opted Directors.
