Snow Volleyball set for inaugural European Championships

Never heard of Snow Volleyball? Well, you must have missed the article on the Volleyball England website which promoted the Snow Volleyball Night at the recent Winter Olympic Games!

The CEV are building the sport and had an exhibition event, featuring some of the biggest names in the history of the game, playing Snow Volleyball out in PyeongChang. The event received worldwide coverage and demonstrated the game which sees players compete on a snow court wearing cold weather clothes and spiked footwear.

Now the growing sport is fast approaching another landmark moment with the inaugural CEV Snow Volleyball European Championships set to take place this weekend, 23-25 March 2018. The championships will take place in Wagrain-Kleinarl, Austria, the birthplace of the sport.

You can tune in to watch the historic tournament as CEV are providing a stream of the event and leading sports broadcaster Eurosport will be showing the finals of the competition on Sunday evening and Monday morning.
