The North East club contested two games over the weekend, first taking on second-placed Essex Trinity on Saturday, knowing that maintaining their 100% record would be far from easy.

The team also had matters to take care of on Sunday when they welcomed Coventry and Warwick Riga to Newcastle University Sports Centre.
