VolleyZone migration update (Wednesday 12th July)

While hub staff and system providers SportLomo continue to work hard to address outstanding issues that remain, many have now secured access to their new account and checked their information.
A high percentage of clubs have now registered their interest for the 23-24 National Volleyball League and National Cup and Shield Competitions using the new VolleyZone, with the remainder having until this Friday (14th July) to do so.
Others have also registered for the latest Coach Awards Course (Indoor), where a handful of places are still available, that was announced last week.
Volleyball England is aware of several anomalies that still exist, and these are being worked through as quickly as possible.
“I would like to personally thank our clubs and membership for the patience they have shown during this time of transition when we knew there would be things that would need to be addressed and smoothed out,” said Laura Allcoat, Volleyball England’s Strategic Manager, Get Keep Grow.
“I’d also like to thank those clubs and members who have contacted us to raise their issues which will help, in the long-term, get the new system in a good place for the benefit of everyone.”
“From feedback, we know that one of the things that people have not always fully understood on the new system is how the hierarchy structure works, so we hope the following information will help.”
“In the meantime, please email Volleyzone@volleyballengland.org if you have any queries.”
The VolleyZone hierarchy structure
You may be asking ‘why do I have an association in front of my name?’ The reason is because the system is formatted into a hierarchy structure. All clubs sit under a county and then under the Region it is in, which then, in turn, sits under Volleyball England. Other than the hierarchy structure, you are still a separate entity.
Not all counties have a Volleyball Association, so some geographical counties have been added into the hierarchy where this is the case.
If you are purchasing your membership, please ensure that you select your main club from the drop-down menu in the middle of the page at the top.
More information on the hierarchy structure and club support can be found by clicking here and going to VolleyZone for clubs (second option).
Role profiles
Some clubs have encountered the problem of not being able to assign roles - such as committee members - to individuals, but this is in the process of being rectified.
Other clubs, meanwhile, have previously been listed under the wrong association, but this should now be resolved for the vast majority.
Please let us know, however, if you are still encountering problems in either area via volleyzone@volleyballengland.org.
Find your way around
Just a reminder that guidance FAQs and videos are online to help you navigate your way around the new VolleyZone.
