In the Men's competition, Coventry University took home the trophy after overcoming the University of York (25-15; 25-20) in the final.

Meanwhile, the University of East Anglia, who had the home advantage, beat the University of Leeds (25-19; 23-25; 16-14) to win the Women's competition.

In total, 32 teams took part in the final round of cup action at the University of East Anglia's Sportspark facility, Norwich. This included a Women's team from University College Cork.

John Worrall, Project Delivery Team Lead at Volleyball England, said: "Congratulations to the 2020 Student Cup winners.

"The teams from Coventry University and the University of East Anglia were deserved winners in their respective competitions but it was fantastic to see so many passionate performances on the court.
