Who are Shoorah - and what do they offer?
Founded in 2023 by entrepreneur Lorri Haines and TV personality Ferne McCann, Shoorah has rapidly grown to more than one million users, with forecasts to reach over six million by 2027.
The platform now partners with leading organisations including Millwall FC, Cash4Kids and other household-name brands to revolutionise how people manage their mental health, wellbeing and lifestyle.
Shoorah brings together a full ecosystem of features designed to support performance and resilience both on and off the court:
- Elite Athlete Tools: mental fitness journeys, mood tracking, and high-performance routines tailored for players and coaches.
- Shoorah Kids and Families: extending wellbeing support to younger family members and volunteers.
- Games and Rewards: WellPoints and interactive health games to help build positive habits and reward engagement.
- Marketplace and Experts: access to clinically endorsed content, therapy sessions, nutrition plans, and recovery tools – all in one place.

Founders' Statement
“As someone who’s always loved sport – and secretly always wanted to try volleyball – I’m thrilled we can bring Shoorah to this incredible community,” said Ferne McCann, Shoorah co-founder.
“We created Shoorah because mental health and wellbeing shouldn’t be an afterthought; it should be built into daily life.
“Partnering with Volleyball England means we can support every player, coach and volunteer with world-class tools that strengthen resilience, community and joy – both on and off the court.”
Lorri Haines, Shoorah co-founder, added: “Shoorah is a 360-degree wellbeing solution built to meet people where they are – from elite athletes to grassroots players and families. This partnership is the next step in our mission to make mental health and lifestyle support accessible to everyone, everywhere.
