New sitting newsletter launched as part of Disability History Month

New sitting newsletter launched as part of Disability History Month

Volleyball England is delighted to announce it will be issuing a quarterly Sitting Volleyball Newsletter – with the first edition being sent out today.

The publication is being put together by Project Lead for Sitting Volleyball, John Worrall, and will contain all the latest information around the sport.

As well as details of upcoming competitions for players, it will provide learning opportunities for clubs and information on courses for officials.

Also included are updates on the GB international squad, run through the British Volleyball Federation (BVF) and the Volleyball England Foundation.

The launch of the Sitting Newsletter comes with Disability History Month – which runs from 20th November to 20th December – in full swing.

“Sitting volleyball is such a fun, inclusive sport and we want to get that message out to as many people as possible – and hopefully this new newsletter will be an excellent tool to help do that,” said Worrall.

“We hope it will appeal not only to those who are already involved, but also those who are interested in the sport, whether that’s in terms of joining a club, setting one up or wanting to play a part as an official or administrator.”

If you are not on the initial newsletter list but wish to be added, or wish to put forward a story for future inclusion, please email j.worrall@volleyballengland.org
