Bucks ready for Golden EuroLeague adventure

Sitting Bucks will be the flag for England starting tomorrow and over the weekend as they compete in the Golden EuroLeague for men.

They fly out to Lukavac in Bosnia and Herzegovina to take on the cream of European sitting volleyball, with the European club title at stake.

The Bucks have been drawn in Pool A, where they will face Serbian champions Oki Banja-Beogard first up at 11am (12noon local time), and then return at 8pm (9pm), to face Poland’s WZSN Start Wroclaw.

On Saturday, the competition moves into the quarter-final and semi-final stages, before the final and placement matches take place on Sunday.

Bucks have already done well to reach this stage, having qualified by claiming the silver medal at the Silver EuroLeague in Nantes, France back in February.

Volleyball England would like to wish the squad, coaches and support staff the best of luck for their matches.
