England's NEVZA 2026 squad selections confirmed

Both sides will compete in Ilkast Denmark between Monday 12th October and Wednesday 14th October, travelling out on Sunday 11th October.  

Women's Head Coach Alex Chinery is excited by the trip to Scandinavia and by the prospect of his team gaining in experience.  

 “We are very excited with the group we have been able to select for this competition," he said. "It is a young group, from which the core will still be eligible for the first round of the U18 European Championships next year. 

“We are looking to build on experiences in Portugal and Italy earlier in the year and are excited to see what this group is capable of against higher quality opposition.”

The England men are also keen to make a positive impression after putting in the hard yards in preparation. 

Head Coach Ryan Murphy said: “We've had two really positive camps leading into NEVZA, with one of those being our selection camp, so this group has already had valuable time together. 

“It’s given us a chance to start building connections, develop how we want to play and create some clarity around our game. 

“A number of the players have also had useful competitive exposure through last years’ Student Cup, while others have represented England at the recent Winter Nations Cup.

“We’re excited to see how the group now comes together and responds to the challenges NEVZA will bring.”
