The Sitting Cup will take place at the National Volleyball Centre (NVC) in Kettering on Sunday 7th April 2024. The deadline for entries is Monday the 25th March.
With the development of Sitting Volleyball in England, Volleyball England are looking to increase participation across all competitions starting with the Cup.
With multiple other European clubs offering places at competitions, Volleyball England wants to extend this gesture and develop relationships with other Governing Bodies by opening entries to European teams.
The cup is open to all teams (men’s, women’s and mixed) able-bodied/disabled, experienced and new players.
With two competitions to compete in teams would be guaranteed at least 4 games across the day. Any teams travelling the day before will have an opportunity to train on Saturday the 6th of April
It takes place at the NVC in Kettering within 1hr 30mins from Stanstead, Luton and Birmingham airports, giving teams from across Europe a range of options for travel.

Entry information
Cost per team: £80 for affiliated teams with VE, £100 for non-affiliated teams.

Format: Teams will be drawn at random in a round of 16*. The winners will progress to the quarterfinals of the cup and the losers into the quarterfinals of the shield. Along with placement matches each team would play at least 4 games.
*This is based on the full quota of teams, if fewer teams enter then an alternative format will be adopted.
Accommodation for teams if needed: There is a Holiday Inn Express a 10 minute drive from the venue. Please contact Volleyball England for details on where to book accommodation in the local area. Teams will be responsible for booking their own accommodation.
Transportation to the venue: If any teams need assistance getting to the venue, please contact Volleyball England. Teams are responsible for their travel to the centre.
