Non-NVL entries to National Cup/Shield now open

Entries for teams from outside the National Volleyball League to enter the 2019/20 National Cup and Shield are now open.

The competition is always popular with non-NVL teams and the entry form for non-NVL teams to enter this year's competition can be downloaded from the right hand column of the National Cup page on the Volleyball England website. Completed forms must be submitted by Friday 5th July

Once the form is completed and returned to competitions@volleyballengland.org - the competitions team will contact you to explain how to complete your entry through VolleyZone - Volleyball England's new online portal.

The National Cup gives teams from outside the NVL the chance to take on higher ranked teams, and the magic of the cup often sees many giant killings! Entry also gives teams a second shot of glory, as teams who exit the Cup early, are entered into the Shield.

Last year 19 non-NVL teams entered the competition and there were some outstanding performers, including Newburn Pink Panthers who reached the quarter-finals of the Women's Shield. The season before IMKA Polonia were a non-NVL team who made the Shield final.

Does your non-NVL team fancy the magic of the Cup this year?
