Volleyball England announces virtual AGM date

Volleyball England's 2020 AGM will be held on Saturday, 26th September.

For the first time in the organisation's history, the meeting will take place online because of restrictions on gatherings.

While it is disappointing not to be able to meet in person, hosting the AGM online makes it easier for people to tune in and hear directly from the Board.

Beginning at 10am, the AGM will provide members with the opportunity to find out about changes over the last year as well as plans for the months ahead. It will also give them the chance to have their voices heard by the Board.

How to join

Our AGM will be broadcast via Microsoft Teams and is open for anyone to attend. Use the following link on Saturday, 26th September to join: https://bit.ly/2YRMdkp

If you intend to watch the AGM, you are advised to download the Microsoft Teams app onto your computer, tablet or mobile phone ahead of time and to test the link included above to see if you can enter the waiting lobby.

Meeting protocol will be explained at the start of the event.

If you have any questions about or for the AGM, or need some help tuning in, please email governance@volleyballengland.org

Want to play a leading role in developing volleyball?

Nominations for three leading volunteer positions that are currently vacant are also open ahead of the AGM. Volleyball England is currently seeking a Sitting Volleyball Lead, a Coaching Lead and a Regional Lead.

Applicants for any of these four positions will have to complete a 'lead application form'. They will also need to be nominated and duly seconded by a voting member of Volleyball England via a nomination form. Role descriptions as well as lead application and nomination forms are listed below.
