Volleyball England would also like to say thank you to sponsors dryrobe and 1st Class Protection for their generous support of beach athletes at the European Beach Volleyball Championships.

Luis Bello, Head Coach of England's Junior Beach Men, said: "These are the highest-level competitions in Europe for each of the age groups and have seen most current beach volleyball stars spark their international careers in them.

"The athletes have worked extremely hard to be selected and to prepare for the competitions under less than ideal circumstances and we should all be very proud of having them representing English beach volleyball at this level.

"A big thank you goes to Volleyball England staff for all the hard work behind the scenes to make our participation possible, the coaches, reserve players, parents and support network around them, and to UKBT for providing competition experience for these young players.

"And last but not least, to dryrobe and 1st Class Protection, sponsors of the teams taking part in the CEV European Beach Volleyball championships this year. Their support is greatly appreciated and their contribution is going to help us achieve the highest possible results."
