11th September 2020
Clothing brand dryrobe is backing England to make its mark on the European Beach Championships after sponsoring the athletes’ kit.
Known for creating a product that keeps athletes and amateur sportspeople who are regularly exposed to the elements warm, dryrobe’s distinct branding will be seen on the match uniforms of U18 and U22 teams during the competitions in Izmir, Turkey, later this month.
dryrobe is a socially and environmentally friendly company and as its changing robes are ideal for the beach and beach volleyball athletes, the partnership with Volleyball England is the perfect fit.
Gideon Bright, dryrobe's owner and founder, said: "We’re proud to be supporting England’s four teams, and sponsoring their match vests, as they take on Europe’s best young talent later this month at the CEV Beach Volleyball European Championships.
“As well as allowing you to get changed anywhere, dryrobe® is designed to protect you from the elements, keeping you warm and dry between matches and helping to preserve your core temperature. Making it the perfect piece of kit for elite-level beach volleyball.
“We’re excited to see Peter, Enrique, Isabelle, Katie, Javier, Joaquin, Saskia and Lauren in action, and wish them the best of luck in Turkey.”
The U18 Championships begin on 16th September and will run until finals day on 20th September. The U22 Championships are scheduled for 23rd-27th September and will also be based in Pamucak Park on the shores of the Aegean Sea.
Sam Jamieson, Deputy Chief Executive of Volleyball England said: "By backing England’s beach volleyball teams at the Championships, dryrobe is directly investing into some of our most talented athletes.
“In the current climate, competitive international opportunities are not so easy to come by, so it’s vital our athletes are able to seize them. The support of dryrobe has helped to make that possible.”
