Volunteer sought for Beach Performance Manager role

Volleyball England is recruiting a Beach Volleyball Performance Manager to assist with planning, developing and delivering the England beach volleyball performance framework. 

This voluntary position involves working with the Beach Performance Group and all athletes, coaching teams and relevant parties to ensure performance strategies and visions are aligned. 

The successful applicant will be passionate about beach volleyball and have experience at a high level of the sport. They will generate creative ideas as to how to develop performance beach volleyball in England and grow the number of high-performance athletes. Additionally, they will review, assess and support on funding and development opportunities that could be available to support the framework and ensure all competition administration requirements are met. 

Candidates are expected to be available on an ad hoc basis in the run up to the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, from which point the role will be reviewed. Expenses will be covered.

Video interviews will take place on the evening on Tuesday, 8th December. Candidates invited to interview will be required to make a 10-minute presentation to set out their thoughts on the performance framework and include the two areas of improvement they feel would make the biggest impact on the programme.
