Let’s Talk Rules returns on 9th December

Positions and line-ups will be at the centre of discussion during the second session of Let’s Talk Rules, which will take place at 7.15pm on Wednesday, 9th December.

As the title suggests, the short webinar-style talks focus on the rules of volleyball in England. You don’t have to be an official to attend, just interested in exploring this technical side of the game.

Service was the topic of conversation in the first session of Let’s Talk Rules. Led by Nick Heckford, Officials Working Group Lead, the presentation began with an overview of the theory of Rule 12 and the associated rules before diving into video examples where it has been applied correctly and incorrectly. Afterwards, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions.

When is the next session?

The next 'Let's Talk Rules!' webinar will be held on Wednesday, 9th December at 7.15pm, focussing on Rule 7: Structure of Play.

If you're unable to attend, a recording will once more be made available afterwards on Volleyball England's YouTube channel.
