Invitation to tender: business development contractor
20th April 2021
Volleyball England, the sports body for volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball, has issued an invite to tender for a business development contractor.
We are seeking to explore opportunities to diversify our revenue streams, grow income and reduce the reliance on existing revenue sources in support of our ambitious 10-year strategy to grow the sport in England.
To achieve this, we are looking to appoint a single supplier that can undertake a review of our income generation activity to date, support activity on existing contracts, make a concise and actionable set of recommendations, and work with the wider team to implement these.
The scope and classification of income generation activities will be agreed with the successful supplier.
The initial contract will last either seven or 12 months, depending on the chosen contractor’s weekly commitment.
Sue Storey, Chief Executive of Volleyball England, said: “The business development contractor will play a key role in our re-structured Volleyball England team, bringing specialist skills that will help us to level up our commerciality and provide sustainable income streams for the future.
“With the other staff appointments and recently re-aligned resources, Volleyball England will be in an even better position to strengthen the volleyball club structure and develop the game in 2021 and beyond.”
Tender responses must be submitted to Sue Storey, Chief Executive, by midday on Friday, 7th May. Please use the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
Clarification questions should be sent to the same email address before Sunday, 25th April.
