This year’s ceremony will take place at SportPark, Loughborough on 24th July, where we will celebrate outstanding characters from the community in the following categories:

- Coach of the Year
- Services to Refereeing
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Long Service Award
- Club of the Year
- Covid Hero
Volunteers are the beating heart of the sport and this long-standing community event has become a key moment of reflection and celebration each year.
Join us as we celebrate the incredible work and special achievements of the volleyball community. The class of 2020 included coach Elaine Brown. Elaine is a full-time coach at the GORSE Academies Trust and the Director of Youth Volleyball Development at Leeds RGA VC. In 2019/20 she went above and beyond to develop volleyball across West Yorkshire. She has an outstanding dedication and commitment to coaching, promotion of equality and good sportsmanship and creative tailors her coaching to the needs of her players.
How does the Annual Awards process work?
If you’re submitting an entry, make sure it’s as detailed as can be as the awards will be judged by people who may not be familiar with the volleyball community.
After the nomination deadline, an independent judging panel will sift through all of the entries to form a 3-person shortlist for each category.
The winners will then be announced at an in-person awards ceremony at the end of July. Full details of the ceremony are yet to be confirmed.
