Have your say on potential changes to the NVL

With plans to re-launch the National Volleyball League in September moving forward at pace, we want your feedback and suggestions on potential changes to the league structure, triangulars and scoring format.

Building on ideas gathered from member feedback for the 2019/20 season and our innovation evening, The Next Big Idea, the Competitions Working Group has used some of the recent downtime to consider changes that could help to reduce the cost and travel time of teams competing in the NVL.

A detailed paper has been produced to outline the pros and cons of each option. A short webinar has also been arranged for Friday, 11th June from 6pm to allow people to hear an overview of what is being considered and ask the Competitions Team any questions. Click here to join the webinar on Microsoft Teams at the designated time.

After reading the paper, anyone from the volleyball community - players, coaches, referees or volunteers, including those who do and don’t compete in the NVL - are invited to complete this short survey, as we are keen to create the best possible NVL experience for existing and future participants. If you do complete the survey, you will also be entered into a prize draw to win a Mikasa MVA200 FIVB Game Ball.

Thanks to a kind sponsorship, every survey entry will see 10p donated to the Volleyball England Foundation, a charitable organisation that is closely aligned to the Volleyball England, up to £100.

Please click here to complete the National Volleyball League Options Survey ahead of the deadline on 23rd June.
