NVL: league tables confirmed ahead of new season

Excitement is building for the much-anticipated return of the National Volleyball League.

Old rivalries will be reignited on Saturday 2nd October when the first games of 2021/22 are played across the country.

A combined 133 teams will take part in this year’s NVL – the highest level of domestic competition – across the Men’s and Women’s leagues.

At the base of each NVL pyramid are two tiers of regional divisions. A combined Division 1 sits above them and at the very top the best athletes in the country compete in the Super League. Local and regional leagues from all areas of the country play an important role in supporting the NVL structure by feeding in new teams.

Rob Payne, Strategic Manager (An Ace Service) is responsible for the delivery of Volleyball England competitions. He said: “To say we are excited for the return of the National Volleyball League is an understatement.

“From the high standards of competition to the away days and much more, there is so much that participants love about the NVL and we aim to add something else into the mix for 2021/22 as we level up our coverage with engaging competition content throughout the season. More on that to follow.

“Good luck to all of the teams taking part. Let the competition commence!”
