Let’s Talk Rules returns

Two sessions of Let’s Talk Rules have been scheduled for the weeks ahead as the popular series of webinar-style discussions returns after a short pause.

In preparation for the new season, an open session will be held on Wednesday, 15th September to answer any questions on the FIVB’s Rules of the Game. Sessions usual revolve around up to three rules, but to help boost confidence, tackle any niggling doubts or competing interpretations and tackle any officiating queries you had from watching the Olympic and Paralympic Games, attendees will be able to field questions on any one of the 28 official volleyball rules. To help prepare for the session, please email questions to Nick Heckford by Wednesday, 8th September.

Afterwards, the main Let’s Talk Rules programme will resume on Wednesday, 6th October with a session on Rule 24: The 2nd Referee, and the sub-rules of location, authority, and responsibilities.

Please sign up for these sessions using our event finder by searching for 'officials webinar'. This means you will be able to track your CPD through VolleyZone.
