VACANCY: Coaching Lead

Volleyball England is looking to recruit a new volunteer to take on the role of Coaching Lead.
Influence the development and delivery of English volleyball and development of coaches in this role, which has been vacant for some time now. This role would be the perfect fit for an experienced and passionate member of the volleyball community.
The Coaching Lead will develop a coaching action plan in line with the Volleyball England Strategy ‘The Game Plan’ predominantly aligned with the Volleyball for Life strategic area supporting the recruitment, development, deployment and recognition of volleyball coaches.
We are looking for a candidate who has an understanding and awareness of the issues facing coaches from local league clubs to performance coaches and the practical, educational, vocational and social needs of players at all levels. The candidate should also have a working knowledge of coaching pathways and the development of resources to support them.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and handle complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence. They’ll be an innovative thinker and have the ability to focus on the issues to be dealt with.
