The Summer Shindig is slightly different and could be considered the 'Let's Have Fun Masters'.  

Gather a group of friends, colleagues or ex-opponents to play as a team on the Saturday in a 6v6 grass tournament with music and, for some, fancy dress..  

Friday night is a social get together with friends and ex-playing partners that you may now only see once or twice a year. Play all day Saturday and then recover with a meal, socialising, dancing and music at night. Sunday is recovery day!

A full weekend including entertainment and team announcements on the Friday night, play all day in randomly selected teams on the Saturday with a 3 course meal at night, then recovery on the Sunday.  

Players enter on their own and teams are randomly selected by position so you might be playing with ex-internationals and an experienced coach. Players should be National League standard and above but this might have been playing 20 years ago for many people.
