England Claim Bronze in Wales

The competition, organised by Fireball Beach Volleyball, brought together the Home Nations and Inter-Regional Championships for the first time, with more than 200 junior athletes taking to the sand in Porthcawl, Wales.
England started strongly on Saturday, securing pool-stage wins over Wales, Northern Ireland, and Gibraltar. A victory against London on Sunday would have sent them into the gold medal match, but the unbeaten capital side proved too strong, leaving England to play for bronze.

Confident after their earlier success against Wales, England delivered once again to claim third place.
In the boys’ Home Nations final, the two unbeaten teams, London and the South West, faced off, with the South West emerging victorious.
The region also triumphed in the girls’ competition, defeating Northern Ireland to secure a golden double.

The Inter-Regional Championships saw an all-southern showdown in both finals. In the boys’ competition, London overcame the South East to take gold, and the capital side repeated the feat in the girls’ final, completing a clean sweep.
