TASS support for 18 volleyball athletes during 25-26

The Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) is a Sport England funded partnership between talented athletes, delivery sites and national governing bodies of sport.
Athletes who are selected for TASS are first put forward for considerations by their NGB.
Once accepted onto the scheme, they can then acceess core services delivered by a netwrok of qualified support staff in parternship with institutions across England.
Areas of support include lifestyle, psychology, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, nutrition adn access to the TASS Medical Scheme.
"We're once again indebted to the support of TASS, whose backing is vital to the ongoing development of our athletes as they aspire to reach the very top," said Jordon Goldsborough, Volleyball England's Project Lead for Talent.
"The marginal gains that come from having access to specialised services can really make the difference when it comes to performance, and I know the athletes are truly appreciative of being supported in this way."
Athletes who have been supported by TASS in the past include a host of Olympic medal winners and world champions, whilst triple jump world record holder Jonathan Edwards has been an ambassador since 2016.
Since 2004, TASS has invested more than £40m into athletes and their support networks, rubber stamping over 7,000 awards, enabling athletes across the country to fulfil their sporting potential.
