Sitting Bucks set the pace in Grand Prix 1

Sitting Bucks started the day in confident form with a solid 2–0 win over the Panthers (25–13, 25–22) with a strong opening display that set the tone for their campaign.
Help for Heroes A also got their day off to a perfect start by beating Nottingham Casualties 2–0 (25–13, 25–15), while South Hants were equally impressive, defeating Lincoln Imps (25–20, 25–17) in their first match.

Sitting Bucks carried their momentum into their second game, overcoming South Hants 2–0 (25–15, 25–15) to stay unbeaten.
Sailsbury Spitfires picked up a hard-fought 2–1 win over Help for Heroes B (25–16, 19–25, 16–14), while Nottingham Casualties bounced back from their opening setback to defeat Heroes B 2–0 (25–12, 25–9).

The final game of the day saw a replay of April’s Cup Final between Sitting Bucks and Help for Heroes A.
Sitting Bucks took the first set 25–19, before Help for Heroes A showed their resilience to level the match, taking the second set 25–14.
In a tense deciding set, the Bucks held their nerve to win 15–10 and take a 2–1 victory, once again finishing the day at the top of the table, as they did during every round last year.
Elsewhere, South Hants continued their good form, securing third place overall with a 2–0 win over Spitfires (25–13, 25–19).

Nottingham Casualties also rounded off a strong day, winning against Lincoln Imps (25–14, 25–23) to end their campaign positively.
The Panthers and Imps played out one of the closest games of the day, with the Lincolnshire side narrowly taking victory (16–25, 25–23, 15–11).
