46 teams across the boys' and girls' division competed this weekend.
The boys' section had 17 teams competing across five pools, where teams competed in a best of 3 sets format.
Gold Pool A was hosted by The Boswells School, who placed second after losing to the victorious, Richmond A, who won all their matches without dropping a set.
Having losing to the winners, Boswells went on to beat Team Sideout and Leeds Gorse Orange 2-0 to claim four pool points.
Team Sideout came third after losing to the hosts in a close 2-0 match (28-26, 25-19) and Richmond A, however beat Leeds Gorse Orange 2-0 (25-20, 25-20) who consequently placed fourth.
AST Academy hosted Gold Pool B, who missed out on first place to Urmston Grammar, who dominated the pool, winning all their matches 2-0.
The hosts placed second after losing 2-0 to Urmston (25-20, 25-13), but beat fellow competitors, London Giants and Richmond B 2-0.
Third place went to London Giants, who after losing their first two matches, came out victorious to beat fourth place, Richmond B, in a close 2-0 match (25-22, 25-23).
Silver Pool C was only made up of two teams, including hosts, London Lynx, and Wapping Wildcats.
These two teams battled it out in a three set thriller, with Wapping Wildcats clinching the win 2-1 (26-24, 23-25, 18-16).
Silver Pool D was hosted by Weymouth, who faced some tough matches in their pool.
Wessex dominated Silver Pool D by winning all three of their matches, and only dropping one set to South Hants (25-15, 24-26, 15-9).
South Hants placed second after their close defeat to the winning team, but beat both Weymouth and Winchester Eagles 2-0 to secure fourteen Grand Prix Series points.
The hosts followed behind in third losing their first two matches to the top two teams, but ended on a high after defeating fourth placed, Winchester Eagles, 2-0 (25-22, 25-21).
Lastly, Silver Pool E was introduced, and made up of the three teams, hosted by Newcastle Staffs.
Nottingham Rockets took the lead in this pool, winning their 2 matches, including a nail-biting match against the Staffs, grabbing the win in the final set 18-16.
Staffs placed second after a tough defeat to Nottingham Rockets, however beat Stockport, who placed third, 2-0 (25-23, 25-13).
The girls' section was made up of an outstanding 29 teams across 8 pools, playing in a best of 3 sets format.
Ashfield Vipers hosted Gold Pool A, who experienced first-hand the high and competitive standards the top pool brings, suffering defeats in all of their matches.
Newcastle Staffs A won two of their matches against Ashfield Vipers (25-19, 25-22, 15-9), and Malory Eagles (25-10, 25-21), but lost to Urmston Grammar in a close 2-1 battle (25-16, 19-25, 7-15).
Urmston Grammar also won two matches, beating the Staffs 2-1, and Ashfield Vipers 2-0, but lost to Malory Eagles in the third and deciding set (16-25, 25-19, 15-7).
Lastly, Malory Eagles also tied with the two teams, winning 2/3 matches against Urmston and Ashfield Vipers, and losing to the Staffs 2-0.
Final standings in Gold Pool A came down to 'sets for' and 'points for'.
Ashfield Vipers placed fourth, with Malory Eagles placing third after winning four sets.
Urmston and the Staffs both drew on the number of sets won and lost, so therefore came down to points.
The northern team grabbed the victory with a four point lead, resutling in Urmston Grammar placing second, and Newcastle Staffs A placing first.
Gold Pool B was hosted by The Boswells School, which saw Richmond A storm through their matches without dropping a set, claiming six pool points.
The other three teams all drew on one match won, where final standings were down to set difference.
Hosts, The Boswells School, came second after beating MK City A 2-0, and lost to South Bucks A 2-1, and Richmond A 2-0.
MK City A placed third after beating South Bucks A 2-0 (26-24, 27-25), but got defeated by The Boswells School 2-0, and Richmond A 2-0.
South Bucks A beat The Boswells School 2-1 (11-25, 25-22, 18-16), however lost to Richmond A and MK City A 2-0, consequently placing fourth.
Silver Pool C was hosted by Newcastle Staffs.
Leeds Gorse Orange came first after their dominating matches against the other three teams, winning them all 2-0.
Newcastle Staffs C placed second after losing to the winning teams, 2-0 (25-12, 25-16).
The C team beat their fellow teammates, Newcastle Staffs B, 2-1 (20-25, 25-21, 15-8), as well as Nottingham Rockets 2-1 (25-23, 23-25, 15-10).
Staffs B placed third after their defeat to the top two placing teams, but beating fourth placed, Nottingham Rockets, 2-1 (20-25, 25-16, 11-15).
South Hants hosted Silver Pool D, who capitalised on their home-court advantage, winning all their matches without dropping a set, consequently placing first.
The other three teams drew on one game won each, where final standings were based off set difference.
Wapping Wildcats came second after the smallest set difference, beating Weymouth 2-0, and losing to South Hants 2-0, and VBDC 2-1 (16-25, 26-24, 15-10).
Third place went to VBDC after their victory to Wapping Wildcats, but lost to Weymoth 2-1, and South Hants 2-0.
Weymouth placed a respectable fourth after beating VBDC 2-1 (25-22, 21-25, 15-13), but lost to South Hants and Wapping Wildcats 2-0.
Bronze Pool E was made up of three teams, and was hosted by Winchester Eagles.
Richmond B placed first after winning their two matches 2-0 against Winchest Eagles (25-15, 25-8), and Royal Wooton Bassett (25-9, 25-2).
Royal Wootton Bassett came second after losing to the top team, but beat third placed, Winchester Eagles, 2-0 (25-29, 225-13).
Bronze Pool F was hosted by ENVC, who placed second after winning 2 of their matches.
The hosts lost to the the pool winners, AST Academy, 2-0 (25-17, 25-7), who went on to win all their matches without dropping a set, taking away six pool points.
ENVC however, did beat MK City B and Birmingham Five Ways 2-0 to claim four pool points.
MK City B placed third after suffering defeats to the top two teams, but beat fourth place, Birmingham Five Ways, 2-0 (25-20, 25-20).
Bronze Pool G was made up of three teams, and hosted by Frodsham.
Hull Thunder placed first after beating Stockport 2-0 (25-7, 25-14), and Frodsham 2-0 (25-24, 25-23).
Frodsham came second after beating Stockport 2-0 (25-9, 25-21), but losing to Hull Thunder.
Stockport consequently placed third after suffering two defeats against the strong teams.
Lastly, Bronze Pool H was hosted by Sevenoaks School.
MGGS stormed through their three matches without dropping a set, placing first and gaining six pool points.
