Role vacancies: Competitions Working Group members

Successful applicants must be members of Volleyball England and will play an important role in supporting the delivery and development of senior competitions.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll provide advice and guidance during the season, help maintain competition standards, support the management of rules and regulations, assist with dispute resolution, and contribute to the successful delivery of senior events.

The group also works closely with the Officials Working Group to ensure a positive competition experience for all participants.

Volleyball England welcomes applications from people with an interest in volleyball competitions - although you must be a VE member - and a desire to support the sport's growth.

Whether your experience comes from grassroots volleyball, the National Volleyball League, or other involvement in the game, Volleyball England would like to hear from you.

Individuals are welcome who:

• Have an understanding of, or an interest in learning more about, volleyball competitions and how they operate.
• Appreciate the needs of Volleyball England members and the importance of creating positive experiences for participants.
• Are willing to apply Volleyball England's values and guiding principles within a competition environment.
• Have good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enjoy working with others to solve problems and support positive outcomes.
• Are reliable, resilient and motivated to make a difference.
• Demonstrate integrity and act in line with the values of Volleyball England.

If you're passionate about volleyball and keen to contribute to the development of the sport, you are encourage you to apply, even if you don't feel you meet every aspect of the role description.

Training, support and guidance will be available to help you succeed.

The role is voluntary, but any reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be met in accordance with the Volleyball England Expenses Claim Policy.
