Slovakia training camp for England Senior Men

The England Senior Men's Volleyball Team is flying out to Central Europe for a 5-day training camp.

Known as the 'England Lions', the development squad will play teams from Austria, Czech Republic and the host country Slovakia during their trip from 31st August to 5th September.

The 16 players called up by Head Coach Simon Loftus to play for the 'England Lions' are:

  • Thomas Graham-Jones (Libero), Sheffield Hallam
  • Stefan Cowley (Outside Hitter), Newcastle Staffs
  • Jordan Dalrymple (Outside Hitter), Malory Eagles UEL
  • Ben Osborne (Outside Hitter), Essex Rebels
  • Christian Christie (Outside Hitter), Essex Rebels
  • Jacob Jones (Outside Hitter), Essex Rebels
  • Nathan Fullerton (Opposite), Malory Eagles UEL
  • Calum Sage (Outside Hitter), Sheffield Hallam
  • William Evans (Middle Blocker), Sheffield Hallam
  • Zak Hadgett (Middle Blocker), Newcastle Staffs
  • Thomas Jefferson (Middle Blocker), Essex Rebels
  • Noah Sykes (Setter), Team Sunderland
  • Adam Baiza (Setter), Malory Eagles UEL

  • 05/09/2022, 5pm " VKP Bratislava vs England Lions

This will be the England players' first competitive outlet since the Novotel Cup in 2020 while emerging juniors will be given their first international playing experience.
