Dutch Tournament beckons for GB's Sitting teams

They fly out to Assen today (Wednesday 28th June) for the three-day competition (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) that will provide a valuable opportunity to compete during the summer months.
In October, the women will travel to the European Championships in Italy, which will bring qualification chances for the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
The men, meanwhile, are preparing for the World Cup, to be held in Egypt in November.
“The Dutch Tournament is a really good, well-organised tournament where you have got some strong teams from all over the world,” said men’s team manager and player John Worrall.
“It will be a good experience for the players and both teams are hoping to put in some good performances with some big tournaments to come later in the year.”

Both teams will play six other teams in a round-robin format, with France, the USA, Ukraine, Italy and hosts the Netherlands featuring in both sections.
The women will also take on Canada, while the men will face Germany. GB women’s squad
