England discover Pools draws for Beach Nations Cup prelim phase

England’s men will play the preliminary phase of the CEV Beach Nations Cup 2024 in Hamburg, Germany from 18th to 20th May.

The seven nation-strong pool will see them take on teams from hosts Germany, Estonia, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Cyrus and Moldova.

England’s women, meanwhile, have also been drawn in Pool C of their competition, which will be staged in Madrid from 13th to 15th May.

They are in a pool of six that also includes hosts Spain, Norway, Bulgaria, Israel and Cyprus.

The four pool winners in each gender will join the countries that were victorious in the preliminary phase of the 2023 edition -  plus hosts Latvia - for the final stage of the Olympic-qualifying competition in Jurmala, from 13th to 16th June.

Winners of the finals stages in the men’s and women’s events will secure a place at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The draw was made on Monday afternoon at the home of European Volleyball in Luxembourg City.
