12 teams to represent England in Senior tournaments at NEVZA Beach Championships 2025

Matches will be played on the Yorkshire town’s South Beach between Friday 27th June and Sunday 29th June.
Five home pairs will fly the flag in the women’s section.

Alice Jagielska, who won the U18 Youth event on the East Coast 12 months ago, is back to partner Kirsty Star, with whom she has already played on the Beach Pro Tour this year.
Katie Keefe, who is out in Jurmala this week playing with Star in the BPT event, will team up with Martha Bullen.
Ella Watson, who will travel to upcoming Oddane Sand NEVZA competition, will partner the experienced Victoria Palmer, who represented England at the Commonwealth Games in 2018.
Another to play in the Youth event in Bridlington last year, where she was an U20 runner-up, Maia Darling, is this time paired with Isabel Brown, who played indoors for England in the Senior Five Nations in January, as well as the University of Nottingham in the 2024-25 MAAREE Women’s Super League.
Fellow England indoor international, Darkstar Derbyshire’s Alice Brand, joins forces with Beth Morgan to complete the quintet of home pairs, who will face opposition from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Scotland.
In the men’s section, seven pairs will pull on the England vest, with a further three chosen as reserves.
Niko Gleed and Enrique Bello, playing out in Jurmala on the Beach Pro Tour this week, will hope to lead the charge.
Fireball founder and England beach pathway coach Sam Dunbavin will play alongside John Morgan.
England and Stockport indoor player Haydn Lawson will take to the sand in tandem with Peter Soczewka, who was a finalist in the U20 Youth event last year.
George Ruddick and Tom Lycett played on separate U20 teams in the Youth event last year, but this time will be on the same side of the net.
Another U20 runner-up in Bridlington from 2024, Rob Morgan, will link up with Tomos Falkner on this occasion.
Andrew van Rensburg, who played in the Queen and King of the Court London Showcase last year, will be partnered by Harry Jones.
Regular players in Bridlington at Skyball, teenagers Maks Makowski and Josh Cosgrove, will hope to use their local knowledge to good effect.
Reserve teams for England are Lewis Fenech and Sam Reid, Lucas Rijvers and James Ingham and Jonathan Butler and Tai Yat Chau.
The England men will take on teams from Norway, Finland and Northern Ireland.
