On Saturday 28th March 2015, the Volleyball England Board of Directors approved the creation of a club based invitational volleyball tournament where high profile club teams from Europe and England would play in a pre-season friendly tournament at the Copper Box arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The event was given the title of the London Legacy Volleyball Cup.

This will take place on the weekend of the 12th & 13th September 2015.
CEV Champions League teams PGE Skra Bełchatów (Poland), VfB Friedrichshafen (Germany – current Men’s Bundesliga Champions) and RC Cannes (France – current Women’s Ligue A Champions) will play alongside Schweriner SC (Germany), Team Northumbria (England), Polonia Sideout (England) and CBL Polonia London (England).
Polish powerhouse and Champions League Final Four Club PGE Skra Bełchatów lead the line-up, with star players including Mariusz Wlazły, the 2014 FIVB World Championship’s Most Valuable Player and the SportAccord International Sportsman of the Year 2014-15.
