Brush up on your knowledge of the game's rules

Volleyball England is launching 'Let's Talk Rules!', a new series of short webinar-style sessions to discuss rules of the game.

Each talk will include a review of the rule in question - as well as associated rules - the referee guidelines and casebook, a discussion of a scenario using a match clip and the opportunity to ask questions.

The rules will be explained by Nick Heckford, the Officials Working Group Lead, who will be joined by one of our experienced international referees.

These sessions are open to all members of the community, not just referees, and will each last approximately 45 minutes.

When is the first session?

The first 'Let's Talk Rules!' webinar will be held on Wednesday. 25th November at 7.15pm, focussing on Rule 12: Service.

If you're unable to attend, a recording will be made available afterwards on Volleyball England's YouTube channel.

How do I join the first session?

The session will be broadcast via Microsoft Teams and is open for anyone to attend. Use the following link on Wednesday, 25th November at 7.15pm to join: https://bit.ly/3kXFAoI
