Referees' webinar, Her Call session and Grade 4 Beach Referee Course

Referees’ webinar with Nick Heckford  

Volleyball England Referee Members are invited to join the next free to attend referee development webinar with Nick Heckford on Thursday 19th March (7.30pm to 9pm).  

The Volleyball England Officials Working Group Lead will provide guidance to referees on the appropriate use of sanctions and play at the net.

Her Call with Hélène Geldof  

Volleyball England is pleased to welcome international volleyball referee, Hélène Geldof to the next Her Call online webinar, which will take place on Sunday 29th March (7.30pm to 9pm) for female Volleyball England referee members.  

Hélène qualified as an FIVB international referee in 2011, representing the Netherlands. 

She will share her journey to becoming an international referee and discuss how she balances work and life commitments with her referee role. 

Female referee members are encouraged to look out for an email from refereeing@volleyballengland.org with details of how to join the session. 

Grade 4 Beach Volleyball Referee course 

A Grade 4 Beach Volleyball Referee course (route B) starting in April is open for bookings. 

The practical for this course will take place in either Weymouth in July or August in Leeds.
