New Club Coach Award course now open for bookings
The course residential weekend on 20th and 21st September 2025 will be hosted at Loughborough University. The course will commence week beginning 7th July 2025 with an introductory webinar.
The Club Coach Award is for coaches who already have an Assistant Coach Award (or equivalent), are operating in a club environment and are at least 18 years of age. Coaches must also hold an active coach registration with Volleyball England.
The cost is £550*, which includes bed, breakfast, and evening meal on Saturday 20th September, all and all tuition, assessment, and facility fees.

Webinar 1: option to attend 15th or 16th July 2025 (7.30pm to 9pm).

Additional course information
Full attendance at all sessions is mandatory in order to pass the course. In your own time, you will also be required to complete eLearning modules and a series of assessment tasks.

There are 24 spaces available on the course, which will be offered on a first come first served basis.
There are a few grant funds such as UKCoaching or county Active Partnerships. You can find your regional partnership here.

* There is a service fee of 3.2% plus 50p on the VolleyZone booking system.
How to book
1. Access the VolleyZone course portal here.
2. Select Club Coach Award Course from event group drop down and click search.
3. Locate the course that you would like to book onto and make a note of the mandatory sessions.
4. To book onto the course, click register.
5. You will be prompted to log into your Volleyzone account.
6. Once logged in you will be taken to the events area within your account. So that the system can check that you are a registered coach, please locate the course that you would like to book onto.
7. Click add to move this to your basket.
8. Click checkout to complete payment for the course and confirm your booking.
A welcome email will be sent week beginning 07/07/2025 once bookings have closed.
